Agustina Fioretti (Argentina, 1991) is an Argentine artist based in Barcelona. Her practice unfolds through installation, image, text, and performance. From a situated and feminist perspective, her work investigates the relationships between memory, migration, family archives, oral transmission, and processes of material transformation.
Through research that intertwines intimate narratives, geographic displacements, and domestic knowledge, Fioretti works with images, objects, recipes, bodies, and materials in transit. Her recent projects address tensions between belonging and estrangement, inheritance and loss, South and North, as well as the ways in which gestures, languages, and memories move across territories.
She is currently part of the Independent Studies Programme at MACBA and has her studio at Hangar, Barcelona. Recent solo exhibitions include FUGA Gallery / Art Nou, Barcelona (2025); Tangent Projects, L’Hospitalet de Llobregat (2025); and Centre Cívic Guinardó, Barcelona (2026). She also participated in the Arte por Venir residency organised by Fundación Carasso in Madrid (2026). She has presented projects and performances at venues including Fundació Joan Miró, Fundació Vila Casas, Chiquita Room, Tangent Projects, Lluerna / Fundació Joan Miró, Centre Cívic Can Verdaguer, and Convent Sant Agustí, among others. Her work has also been shown in New York, Washington D.C., Buenos Aires, Milan, and Santiago de Chile.
