Galeria Marlborough has exhibition spaces in Barcelona, Madrid, London and New York. Founded in London in 1946, it was a pioneer in presenting the German Expressionists. In 1958 the gallery represented artists such as Oskar Kokoschka and Lucian Freud. In 1962 the New York office was created and in 1992 the Madrid one. Marlborough represents a wide group of contemporary artists from Europe, the United States, South America and Asia. The Barcelona headquarters opened its doors in October 2006 and since then it has alternated group exhibitions with monographs, and has coordinated and organized exhibitions of its artists in other public and private galleries and institutions. Its programming includes national and international artists, established and emerging. The genre, style or theme is marked by the exhibiting artist, so you can see samples that cover all types of proposals: painting, sculpture, photography, digital art, installations or graphic work.
