Established in 2024, g · gallery is a new art venue in the old town Barcelona, situated in one of Barcelona’s most vibrant pedestrian areas, steps away from the picturesque Palau de la Musica Catalana.
This project was created with the intention of challenging the traditional perception of art galleries, where visitors hesitate to enter or interact with staff. It aims to transform the concept of the institutional gallery into a welcoming and inclusive environment to discover and explore contemporary art. At g · gallery art becomes a conversation between artist and viewer.
g · gallery focuses on promoting emerging and mid-career artists through curated exhibitions both in the gallery space, at international art fairs and pop-up venues. The project is giving visibility to a wide range of contemporary languages: from traditional visual arts to conceptual practices, such as installation, performance, video art, and generative art.
The program of g · gallery combines the introduction of new talents to the art scene with the presentation of established artists who rarely exhibit in Spain. The gallery’s mission is to build bridges between the local scene and the international art market.
