Violeta Lenz was born in Medellin, Colombia, in 1989 and belongs to El Colectivo Artistico El Cuerpo Habla based there. She lives in the city of Graz, Austria where she participates in the contemporary music ensemble Bones of fragments with her visual live commitment. She has participated in several performance and research projects about the body. She currently participates in a research-creation project: “Reverberar: Arte y Acontecimiento”. In her personal work, she combines movement, the fragile and the ephemeral using different media such as video, weaving, drawing and photography creating a space in which perception can move freely
