Tura Sanglas (Ordis, 1992), grows up in the Empordà. Then, she graduated in Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona (2014) and obtained a Master’s Degree in Artistic Production and Research. She stays to live in Barcelona. She also enjoyed a scholarship to study at the University of the West of England, in Bristol. She has obtained an Agita 2023 grant (Figueres City Council), the Guasch Coranty Foundation creation grant 2016, and the Felícia Fuster Foundation grant for the creation of visual arts 2017. Recently she has been selected as a finalist in the prize of sculpture 2024 of the Vila Casas Foundation, and she is finalist of the 2023 Guasch Coranty International Painting Award, among others prizes. She has exhibited in different galleries around Catalonia and in some collective exhibitions in European cities (Museu de l’Empordà, Fundació Vila Casas, Galeria Arte92 (Madrid), JCE Biennale (Montrouge), La Casa Elizalde…).
