Sara Jimenez: My conception of art has evolved over the years, becoming the best therapy against all the external problems that surround me. That is why, roughly speaking, my main line of work focuses on human psychology from my own experience: childhood, dreams, nightmares, traumatic experiences, fears, etc., in an attempt to analyze myself and, at the same time, heal everything that is harmful to me, to build myself as an individual person, still incomplete, who has doubts, who is imperfect. With references such as Jessica Walsh or Sigmund Freud, I materialize my ideas in an almost intuitive way through the self-portrait, extrapolated to any discipline, with diverse aesthetics, and making, for the most part, use of new technologies, which make my work a simile of a self-portrait. my work a simile of a chaotic and singular mind.
