Paula Artés (Molins de rei/Alentorn, 1996) is a photographer artist committed to raising awareness and questioning the hidden spaces of power, and therefore control. Starting from an essential preliminary investigation, he reveals these spaces. Graduated in photography and contemporary creation, she also completed a postgraduate degree in graphic design and an audio-visual one by photographers at Idep Barcelona. This year she has a solo exhibition at the ángels barcelona gallery within Art Nou and at the Centre d’Art Lo Pati. Her work is in the collection of the National Photography Plan of Catalonia and various exhibitions in the Mapfre Tenerife and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Morera Museum and IEI in Lleida, BIAM, Unseen Amsterdam, Temporal ICUB, Kursala, SCAN and Santa Monica, among others. She has published the photobook Forces and Corps and has been selected in PhotoEspaña, Sala d’Art Jove and nominated to MAST Fundation in Bologna, Italy, Pla(t)form FotoMuseum of Winterthur and has obtained the OSIC scholarship of the Generalitat, among others. She has also curated an exhibition at the Music Museum and Toni Catany Foundation. She has also been at HISK in Belgium and at Baladre Lo Pati residences.
