Natalia Suárez Ortiz de Zárate (Vitoria-Gasteiz, 1994) lives in Bilbao. She dedicates herself to painting and explores the performing arts as a member of the Tripak company. Since 2022, she has also managed the KAMPAI space in the Rekalde neighborhood in Bilbao.
Her individual exhibitions include “Aterrizo, anochece”, at ANTI Liburudenda (Bilbao, 2024);“Jade”, at the BilbaoArte Foundation (Bilbao, 2022); “MILK TEETH”, Montehermoso Cultural Center (Vitoria-Gasteiz, 2022) and “AI, PUNA”, in Sala Rekalde (Bilbao, 2020).
Her group exhibitions include “B.A.C.E. Project”, in FILET Space (London, 2023);“FOUR-HEADED DRAGON”, in Galería Herrero de Tejada (Madrid, 2023); “Hamairu”,TABAKALERA (Donosti, 2022), “KOKO NI”, at 3331 Chioda Art (Tokyo, 2022); “ESTUDIOTIKAT”, in TABAKALERA (Donosti, 2021); “ITZULI BARIK in Kulturate (Arrasate, 2019) or XVI AMP“Markak”, in Okela Sormen Lantegia (Bilbao, 2018).
She has carried out artistic residencies at JOSHIBI University of Art and Design (Tokyo, 2022);BilbaoArte (Bilbao, 2021), Artist in Residence Sandnes (Norway, 2019) and TABAKALERA -International Center for Contemporary Culture (Donosti, 2018), among others. In 2023 she received the Basque Government Scholarship, in 2022 the Bizkaia Provincial CouncilScholarship, and she was awarded in the Ertibil competition in 2021, and selected in it in 2019.
