Ignacio San Martín Godoy (Chile/Spain, 1998) between 2019 and 2023 studied at the University of Chile, where he completed the Foundation Year of the Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts and subsequently the Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Arts. His practice is rooted in his biography, using family photographic archives as a starting point to explore the relationship between personal experience and collective imaginaries.
His work has been exhibited in various venues and museums, including the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo (MAC) — Chile’s Museum of Contemporary Art.
