Federico García Trujillo proposes a holistic project around the contemporary possibilities of painting and drawing. His work is situated between the construction of thought and the formal investigation of materials, exploring territories ranging from the history of painting itself, memory, documentary analysis or the synergies between art and music. He holds a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona, in addition to the Master PRODART of Production and Artistic Research at the same university. He has had solo exhibitions at the SAC hall of the Government of the Canary Islands with The Morandi’s Atittude and at La Capella in Barcelona with Frames Rocío within the framework of BCN Producció. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions, including: Crisis?, What Crisis? Chapter 2 (TEA Tenerife), Secuencia Editorial (La Panera, Lleida) or Aparteu les cadires (Can Felipa Arts Visuals, Barcelona). He was also selected to participate in the Biennial of Contemporary Art – Young European Creation, an exhibition that has toured several European countries. He is currently working in his studio in S/C de Tenerife.
