
Daianna Sierra Camacho (Bogotà, Colòmbia. 1978) is a multidisciplinary artist, Born in Bogotá who currently resides in Barcelona, her work focuses in research the way in which it is related the resignification of the body, superstition, and the look from the other to the other, taking special attention in the bond that occurs between these elements to the construction of the context. Her process of research + creation are framed in the same tentative, a series of essays that configure, displace and reveal, from a historical, aesthetic and anthropological view, through different ways, like the installation, the illustration, the sculpture, the sound or the video, the exploration of matter and its perceptual and relational possibilities. Audiovisual producer from the Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano, Bogotá, Colombia, gets later her degree in Visual Arts from the UNAD university, Bogotá, Colombia, currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Artistic Production and Research at the University of Barcelona (UB), Spain. She has participate in collective exhibitions, presentations in Colombia y Mexico (UNAM University), and has written articles related to her research + creation projects (MAVAE magazine Javeriana University). She is part at the moment of the digital intersections research group of the UNAD University of Colombia, whit two selected and current projects; besides, she is the holder of the Colfuturo Colombian scholarship for postgraduate studies and received in 2019 the first place in recognition of cultural journalism by the Colombian Ministry of Culture
