Alba Acebes Macià (Madrid, 2002) works as a graphic designer and develops her artistic practice through the lenses of care and affection. Drawing on methodologies from design and self-publishing, she unfolds processes that attend to what trembles, shifts, or remains unfinished. Her work moves across graphic design, publishing, and textile practices, proposing frameworks in which vulnerability opens up spaces of resistance and possibility.

She holds a degree in Design from EINA, University School of Design and Art of Barcelona, and has been part of Escola de Context: JA Llibreria at La Capella since 2024. She has participated in collective research programs such as Publishing Now by GenderFail (2025) and (creating)Situations: Arts and Thought at Centre d’Arts Santa Mònica (2024), and currently teaches in the master’s program at BAU, where she leads the course ‘Self-Publishing and Independent Publications’.

She has been selected for programs including Can Felipa Arts Visuals (2026), Art Jove Creació (2025), and the OSIC Grants of the Government of Catalonia (2025). Her practice has been developed through local exhibition and research contexts such as Sala d’Art Jove (2025), MACBA (2025), Art Nou (2025), DHub (2024), and Barcelona Design Week (2024), as well as international platforms including Milan Design Week (Milan, 2026), The Green Corridor (Brussels, 2026), and the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna (Vienna, 2025).
