Caterina Miralles (Barcelona, 1995) is an architect, educator, and audiovisual artist based in Barcelona. Her practice explores the effects of the built environment at an anthropological scale, approaching field research, art, and architecture as an interconnected whole. Her work offers a transversal view across disciplines, analysing, visualising, and—above all—communicating the frictions that emerge between urban and human landscapes.
She is currently an artist-in-residence at La Escocesa. Her work has been exhibited at institutions such as Sala d’Art Jove, Loop Festival, in Barcelona, at La Casa Encendida in Madrid, and the Biennale di Archittetura di Venezia. Her teaching focuses on exploring pedagogical methods in art and design at IED Barcelona and EINA University School of Design and Art.
